Apple Vacations’ Clients, Agents Pick Favorite Family Resorts

Apple Vacations surveyed more than 5,000 of its customers and travel agents to find their favorite kid-friendly resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean. Survey respondents overwhelmingly said the best resorts for kids have a wide variety of activities for all age groups, friendly staff and kids clubs with safety measures to ensure peace of mind for parents. Favorites included the following resorts:

Iberostar Paraiso Lindo in Riviera Maya, Mexico, and Iberostar Bavaro All Suite Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic are favored by parents for well-organized activities in Lucy’s Kid’s Club and the age-appropriate activities for kids aged 4 to 12. For teens, parents liked the teen disco, Internet café and video games. Barcelo Maya Palace Deluxe in Riviera Maya, Mexico, offers a wide array of activities at Barcy Kid’s Club. Parents like the friendly staff.

MoonPalace Golf and Spa Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico, is a favorite for safety with its secure check-in and check-out at the kid’s club, good weather and both indoor and outdoor activities. Now Jade Riviera Cancun and Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun in Riviera Maya, Mexico, have an air-conditioned play area and friendly staff. Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort Montego Bay, Jamaica, is a favorite because of its KidSpree Vacation Club and tropical lagoon-inspired swimming pool.

Travel agents named the following resorts as tops for kids and teens: Crown Paradise Club Cancun; Dreams Tulum Resort & Spa (Riviera Maya, Mexico) and Dreams Punta Cana Resort and Spa; Grand Palladium White Sand and Riviera Resort and Spa in Riviera Maya, Mexico; Riu Vallarta (Riviera Nayarit, Mexico) and Riu Bambu (Punta Cana, Dominican Republic); and Sandos Caracol Eco Resort and Spa and Sandos Playacar Beach Resort and Spa (Riviera Maya, Mexico).
