Luxury adventure tour operator Travcoa is reporting “significant growth” in its family travel programs, primarily through its Independent Journeys series. Introduced in 2009, the Independent Journeys product is based on pre-designed itineraries designed to offer freedom and flexibility to clients.
In the three years since its introduction, the Independent Journeys series has become the company’s strongest-selling product line, doubling in sales each year. Within that number is a significant amount of family travel, including grandparents with grandchildren, single parents with children, multi-generational families and multiple families traveling together, according to Travcoa President Jerre Fuqua.
